About Jacobson Construction

Rick Jacobson

Rick Jacobson began his long career as a remodeling contractor in 1984. Rick grew up in the remodeling business. Rick worked for his father who, after World War II, graduated from the Dunwoody Institute. Rick’s grandfather was also a Norwegian carpenter.

From 1984 to 2002, Rick did business as Jacobson Construction and thought a name change was in order, so in 2003 Rick began doing business as Bridgewater Construction, Inc. Most of his business came through referrals from customers who appreciated Rick’s attention to detail and personal touch. They told others, and Bridgewater grew. Rick’s projects received favorable customer and media reviews for his home additions, kitchen, bath, and basement remodeling projects. Rick has been featured on KARE 11 TV’s Saturday morning show and in Mpls/StPaul magazine.

In 2011 Rick sold Bridgewater Construction, Inc. to architect Craig Weber and worked for three years to help build the business.

In 2014 Rick left Bridgewater and began doing business as Jacobson Construction Inc. once again. He provides personal, reliable remodeling services for homeowners who are looking for quality design and construction services. He has extensive experience in additions, remodeling kitchens, baths, bedrooms, and basements. Also garages and decks. Rick can handle every aspect of your home remodeling ideas.

Rick’s been using the same team of carpenters, plumbers, electricians and other suppliers for years.

When working with Jacobson, you can be confident that Rick’s remodeling team of professionals will respect both you and your home.

Respect is important to Rick. He was among the first to implement a no-smoking policy. He goes out of his way to make sure that the remodeling process is as easy as possible for homeowners.

The result: Quality remodeling services delivered on time and on budget, with the respect you deserve.
